The chances of winning a prize will depend on the number of eligible entries received by the relevant deadline dates.

For each prize, a random draw will be conducted by MNP LLP on the relevant draw date using random number generator software. MN–S will make reasonable efforts to contact each winner within five (5) business days of the relevant draw date. If the winner cannot be contacted within ten (10) business days, his/her entry will be disqualified and another eligible entry will be selected using the same random draw process. The process will be repeated until contact is made with a winner or there are no more eligible entrants.

Prior to being declared a winner, entrants will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question within five (5) business days of the initial contact between MN–S and the individual. In the event that the individual incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, he/she will be disqualified, and another entry will be selected using the above process.

Winners will be required to provide proof of eligibility as outlined above and sign an undertaking and release in order to accept a prize(s). The eligibility information and signed forms must be returned within the time period specified on the forms or the prize will be forfeited, and another entrant will be selected, and the process above will be repeated.

MN–S will not be held responsible in any manner whatsoever should winners not be satisfied in any way with any prize.

MN–S will not be held liable for any injury, loss or damages that could directly or indirectly incur by reason of acceptance of a prize.

MN–S reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable value or for cash value in its sole discretion.

Refusal to accept the prize releases the MN–S from any obligation toward the winner.

General:

By entering the Incentive, entrants agree to read, abide, and be bound by these rules, including all eligibility requirements and by the decisions of the MN–S, made in its sole discretion, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to the Incentive. Entrants who have not complied with these rules are subject to disqualification.

MN–S reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend in whole or in part this Incentive at any time and in any way, without prior notice. Without limiting the foregoing, if for any reason the Incentive is not capable of running as originally planned, MN–S reserves the right to cancel the Incentive and conduct a draw from all previously received eligible entries.

MN–S does not assume any responsibility and entrants fully release MN–S from any responsibility or liability for (i) the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information and entries that fail to comply with these rules; (ii) any injury, loss, damage, or claims caused by a prize or participation in the Incentive; or (iii) any failure of any website or electronic communications which may affect a person’s ability to participate in the Incentive.

The Incentive is subject to all applicable laws. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and MN–S in connection with the Incentive, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Saskatchewan and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflicts of law principles.

Additional Rules for Scholarship Prizes:

The remainder of these rules will apply to the Scholarship Prizes. In addition, the following rules will apply to the Scholarship Prizes only:

  • In order to be eligible for a Scholarship Prize, individuals must meet the eligibility criteria outlined above, be 12-30 years of age as of November 24, 2021, and have applied their Scholarship Prize to an eligible program as discussed below by April 30, 2032 (the “Scholarship Deadline”).
  • Winners will be required to show proof of enrollment at an eligible program in order to be awarded a Scholarship Prize. Winners may only apply their Scholarship Prize towards tuition fees while they are registered as a student in good standing at any program at an accredited post-secondary educational institution (such as a university or college) in Canada or elsewhere recognized by the Government of Canada for the purpose of Registered Education Savings Plans at the time the winner claims their Scholarship Prize. Scholarship Prizes may be applied to more than one program or for more than one year until the Scholarship Prize is fully spent. If a winner receives other funding for tuition fees, the winner may apply the Scholarship Prize to other education-related expenses as approved by MN–S.
  • MN–S has engaged a third-party trust administrator to manage the Scholarship Prizes as trusts on behalf of MN–S. Until a winner is eligible to be awarded their Scholarship Prize in accordance with these rules, the Scholarship Prize will be held in trust by the administrator in accordance with the terms of the trust and applicable trust law.
  • The Scholarship Prizes may not be transferred, assigned, or deferred other than as set out in these rules. If a winner is not eligible for or fails to claim a Scholarship Prize (or any portion of that Scholarship Prize) by the Scholarship Deadline, the Prize will be forfeited and handled in accordance with the terms of the trust and applicable trust law.

Some rules and regulations have been updated for clarity of intent, no eligibility criteria has been altered.
